NY State Fair Recruiting Sign-up

posted in: Special events | 0

Cadets,

Sign-up for volunteering at the NY State Fair this August has begun. The Fair is a great opportunity to share Civil Air Patrol’s capabilities, help with recruiting, and have a lot of fun! Volunteers will get free admission to the Fair for working a two-hour shift helping to recruit, and of course you’re welcome to help out longer!  The Fair runs from 23 Aug to 3 Sept this year.

The attached link to the NY Wing website has more information and an online signup form. You’ll also need to fill out the short Squadron sign-up form, so we know who’s going and when.

New for this year is the opportunity for CAP members to stay overnight onsite at the 4-H Youth Building. We’ll be taking the van up on August 25th and returning the next day.  Seats are limited, so sign-up soon!

If you have any questions, please email 2d Lt Deb Flynn at deb.flynn@ny030.org.
