To all;
FEMA has updated their requirements for a FEMA SID (Student ID) number. This number is used when taking online classes through the FEMA Independent Study Program. This is where you can take the ICS classes needed for ground team requirements. The new age requirement is 10 years old and up – it used to be 14. To sign onto the website and register to get an SID, go to: https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid and you can start taking ICS classes as well as all FEMA classes available on the ISP website: https://training.fema.gov/is/
