Will cover any housekeeping items needed at this time.

1905 – Aerospace
Cadets, be prepared to answer questions and participate over voice or through the chat

1930 or when Aerospace is complete – Emergency Services
Cadets, be prepared to answer questions and participate over voice or through the chat

2000 or when ES is complete – All members who do not have further needs are dismissed.
Drill tests as needed.

Supply
All cadets should come ready to learn and participate. Join before 1900 to check your camera and microphone.

Update to Suspension of Unit Activities

The commander of New York Wing has directed that all CAP in-person activities be suspended until 1 April 2020. This suspension will include the scheduled first aid class. The next unit meeting will be 7 April 2020, unless there are further developments. Any questions or concerns, please contact me or Capt Mazanec.

Final Call for April 25th Glider Flights!

This is the final call for members of the Orange County Cadet Squadron to sign up for Glider Orientation Flights at Farmers Pride Airport in Pennsylvania. We have 5 remaining slots for cadets to fly. If the slots are not filled by the 15th of March, I will be opening up to other units in our group to participate. Departure from Orange County Airport is at 0400 and return is approx 1800. Additional info is available in the original blog post, on the sign up sheet, or by contacting the Squadron Commander.

First Aid Training – 28 March 2020

ALCON:

A First Aid/CPR Class is being conducted by Maj Racite. The First Aid certification is needed for those members wishing to qualify as a Ground Team Member – Level 3. Certification is through the American Red Cross. Parents are invited to register and attend as well. The tuition fee is due at the time of the class to cover materials. Registration cut-off is 15 March 2020 at 1800 hrs.
