Security Access Information for Stewart ANG Base

Here is the form to submit your information for access to Stewart ANG Base. Please note that the procedure has changed from what we previously announced. We reduced the amount of information being gathered and therefore can use this easier method for gathering information. Please complete this form for all members and each person who may be driving on base so we can get this forwarded to the ANG as soon as possible.

ES Bivouac – 30 Jul-01 Aug

ALCON:

An ES Training Bivouac will be held 30 Jul – 01 Aug 2021. This is an overnight activity to conduct ES and survival training. Details are as follows.

Time: 1800 30 Jul 2021 to 1600 01 Aug 2021
Location: Winding Hills Park, 2 Old Route 17K, Montgomery, NY
Mission: Conduct Ground Team Member, Ground Team Leader, Urban Direction Finding, and survival training

Participation Requirements

  • Complete uniform – ABU/Corporate Field Uniform
  • CAPID Card
  • 101 Card with GES rating
  • CAPF 60-80 (Cadets only)
  • CAPF 161 (in pocket of field uniform)
  • Field Gear – complete 24 hour pack is preferred, but not required. Must be able to carry at least 1 quart of water.
  • Meals for length of stay (meals are NOT provided)
  • Water (approximately 1 case/3 gallons)
  • Tent and sleeping gear if staying overnight. Tents may not be shared unless members are from the same household.

Aerospace Officer School for Senior Members

Northeast Region AEO School (Online)
Lectures are held twice a week (Tue, Thu)
From 1900 to 2100
Starting 23 March 2021 to 8 April 2021

This course is designed to give AEOs guidance on how to plan, conduct, manage and report on aerospace education programs.
Course Goals

• To educate AEOs at all levels about their duties, the resources available, how to plan and implement curriculum tools and workshops
• To share experiences and ideas to provide excellence in the CAP AE program
• To increase effective communication between AE Officers at all levels

REGISTRATION: All attendees (students & instructors)

EMERGENCY SERVICES MISSION

ALCON:

Pennsylvania Wing has been tasked to support a Type 1 FEMA Vaccination Site in the Philadephia area and is requesting support from CAP members across the Northeast Region. Details as follows:

Mission Location: Philadelphia Convention Center
Mission Dates: Immediately – 30 Apr 2021
Number of CAP Personnel Requested Daily: up to 50
Requested Participation Days of the Week: Monday-Friday
Minimum # of Days to Commit: 3 days in a row

Duties will include assisting with screening for COVID symptoms, assisting people with disabilities, and directing people through lines to the correct stations in the clinic. Work will be 10-12 hour days beginning at 0730 each day. Food will not be provided, but a per diem rate will be provided to help with food costs. There are multiple locations to obtain food across the street from the location. Uniforms are required. Remain Overnight (RON) is funded to cover hotels. Details will be forthcoming. Cadets are permitted to participate.

Northeast Region Evaluated Exercise – 4-8 Nov 2020

Northeast Region will be conducting an Air Force Evaluated Exercise from 4-8 November. We are looking to see what members are available for tasking on those days. In addition, there will be Ground Team training on 7 November in conjunction with this exercise.

Evaluated Exercise:
Sign-up: Section 1 of sign-up form
Location: Alert from home. Instructions will be received in the alert.
Date/Time: 4-8 Nov as tasked by NER within the period you signed up for.
UOD: Appropriate uniform for task – ABU with cold-weather gear for Ground Team or Mission Base, Flight Suit for Aircrew
Equipment: Full equipment for task – 24-hr pack for Ground Team
Qualifications: GES (Required), Must be in at least trainee status for given area training for (ex. GTM3(T) for Ground Team, MS(T) for Aircrew, MSA(T) or MRO(T) for Mission Base)
Documentation: CAPID, 101 Card, and CAPF 161 on person

Ground Team Training:

Ground Team Training – 24 October 2020

Time: 0900-1630 (Staff 0800-1700)
UOD: ABU with cold-weather outerwear
CONOPS: The purpose of this training day will be to qualify Ground Team Leaders. Ground Team Members will have the opportunity to train with the Ground Team Leaders being evaluated and will receive sign-offs as possible.
Equipment:
– Required: Water (1 quart), lunch
– Recommended: Complete 24 hour pack
Qualifications:
– Required: General Emergency Services
– Recommended: Ground Team Member Level 3 or UDF Team Trainee (minimum)
Documentation:
– Required: CAPF 161 (on person)
