Our squadron will be helping with the Habitat for Humanity walk on Sunday April 23rd. We will meet at Washington’s Headquarters in Newburgh. The UOD is BDUs. The report time is 12:30 and the event will run until about 4:00. If you would like to participate, please email me at flynnst@gmail.com or call 845-220-6559.

Today at the 4-H Education Center and Park we had a great time building and launching rockets with the 4-Hers. Thanks to all the cadets who came out to support this aerospace education outreach!
All cadets are invited to attend a rocket launch this Sunday, Apr 9th, which is a requirement to earn the CAP Model Rocketry Badge. If you can’t make this date, there will be makeup date scheduled in the future.
We’ll also be helping Orange County 4-H youth build rockets, as part of an aerospace education outreach. All cadets who have built rockets are encouraged to help with this event. Please let me know if you’d like to help with the class, and plan to arrive by 2 pm. Cadets coming for just the launch need to be at the park by 3 pm.

The squadron will be having a promotion ceremony at tomorrow’s meeting, April 4th, where we’ll recognize the latest achievements of our cadets. Family and friends are welcome to attend and light refreshments will be served. Please plan to arrive by 7:30 pm for the ceremony.

Hi all,
Our squadron is doing a fundraiser with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to raise money for squadron activities. We’re asking members to speak to their family, friends and co-workers and take as many orders as you can. The doughnuts are the Original Glazed and we’re selling them for $7.50 a dozen. Orders will be delivered to the squadron during our meeting on Feb 14th.
The order form is in the link below. Completed orders can either be brought to the meeting this Tuesday, or emailed to 2d Lt Flynn or Capt Granda by Friday, Feb 10th. Money is due when the doughnuts are delivered on Feb 14th. If you have any questions, please email 2d Lt Flynn at flynntomj@gmail.com or ask at this Tuesday’s meeting.

Hi all,
Thanks all for coming out to the squadron Holiday Party and for your contributions to the food. It was a fun evening and I hope you and your family enjoyed it. Check out the squadron facebook page for many more pictures from the evening (a link is on the bottom of the website).
The final meeting of the year will be next week on Dec 20th. It will be a good opportunity for getting drill tests done that are needed for promotions. We’ll then resume meeting on Jan 3rd.
