Aerospace Education Outreach & Rocket Launch

All cadets are invited to attend a rocket launch this Sunday, Apr 9th, which is a requirement to earn the CAP Model Rocketry Badge.  If you can’t make this date, there will be makeup date scheduled in the future.

We’ll also be helping Orange County 4-H youth build rockets, as part of an aerospace education outreach.  All cadets who have built rockets are encouraged to help with this event.  Please let me know if you’d like to help with the class, and plan to arrive by 2 pm.  Cadets coming for just the launch need to be at the park by 3 pm.

Promotion Ceremony 4 April 2017

The squadron will be having a promotion ceremony at tomorrow’s meeting, April 4th, where we’ll recognize the latest achievements of our cadets. Family and friends are welcome to attend and light refreshments will be served.  Please plan to arrive by 7:30 pm for the ceremony.
